BURNING YOUR SOY CANDLE

The first time you burn your soy candle, it is important to allow the wax to melt to edges of container, for however long it takes. This will create a burn memory.

If wax is not melted to the edge, the candle is likely to tunnel.

Each subsequent time the candle is lit, trim the wick to 5mm and allow the wax to melt to edges of container, approximately 2-4 hours per burn.

Burn the candle no longer than 4 hours at a time, as excessive burn time can lead to glass overheating and cracking.

Ensure the wax pool is free of debris and always keep the wick centred, this is best done after the candle has been extinguished and the wax is still soft.

Never extinguish candles with water or by using the lid. Discontinue use of the candle when 1cm of wax remains.

Whilst wax is soft, use paper towel to wipe out remaining wax and discard in the bin. Then wash glassware in warm soapy water to be re-purposed.

These tips will help prevent tunnelling, promote an even burn as well as a great scent throw ensuring you get the most out of your candle.

CANDLE APPEARANCE & FINISH

Our 100% soy candles are hand-poured in small batches
to maintain the highest standards.

Sometimes the top of the candle may appear slightly uneven,
an indication of natural soy wax being hand-poured.

Once the candle is extinguished, the soy wax begins to re-set
and wax may set unevenly.

This is a normal characteristic of soy wax and in no way
affects the fragrance, burn or quality of the candle.

We hope you enjoy your soy candle.
